REVITALAXATION the art of revitalizing while relaxing Someone somewhere is seeking solitude right now. The stress of day to day responsibilities can become overwhelming. Here are a few things you can do at home to have more moments of ahh!! Here are some relaxation and revitalization remedies that have predictable and reliable results no matter what is going on outside. I love and recommend a consistent selfcare routine utilizing these tips. Bathe in and out Lemons are amazing. Drink them, bathe in them, rub them on your elbows and knees. Here are some lemon drinks that cleanse and will renew you with energy! Lemon and water... that's it. This antidote first thing in the morning is a great benefit to the body. Using alkaline water is gold to this recipe. Sliced Lemon with skin on, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, and hot water. I call this my simple hot tea. Very effective to cure sore throats and more. Make fresh lemon consumption a daily habit and you will notice a positive difference in your health. Soaking in a relaxing bath is the ultimate simple luxury in life. It's one of those things you do that makes you want to do it over and over again. Try these aromatic recipes of bath treatments and you will not regret it! 2½ cups Extra fine Epsom salt (relieves muscle aches and pain) ¼ cup bentonite clay (removes toxins from the body) 10 drops lavender oil (just because it smells amazing and the benefits are beyond belief) 1 cup of Himalayan sea salt, 1 cup of Extra fine Epsom salt 10 drops of eucalyptus oil 2 cups of baking soda 1 cup Extra Fine Epsom Salt 10 drops of Tea tree oil or Eucalyptus oil 8 drops of Lavender Oil 1 tablespoon of Powdered Ginger 1 cup of baking soda 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide 10 drops of essential oils of your own choice Soaking no more than an hour refreshes the body and mind. Consult your physician before using these remedies of relief if necessary. Note to Self Writing seems to be a fading art that needs a comeback. Take a moment to write yourself a note of inspiration or motivation. Writing goals down and words of encouragement to oneself is powerful. Keeping a month to month journal is a great way to catalog growth, dreams, and goals. Jumpstart your writing journey with phrases such as: I love today because,... I want to begin,... In five years I will have,... I am strong because,... Starting a Vision of Me Board is a fun and exciting way to become the architect of your future self. Here are the materials you may need: Poster Board Scissors Glue, tape, stick pins Images of all the wonderful things in life you want to be or see in your life. You can also use a dry erase board or sticky note pad sheets to write out your goals and dreams. Place the board or notes in an area that will be visible to you daily. Journaling is a easy way to unload your thoughts at the end of the day. Writing out how you really feel puts things in perspective. To thine own self... just be you, and yes true of course. Find Your Path Walk around your neighborhood, stroll in your own backyard, or even walk back and forth through the rooms in your home. This can reset your day right in the middle of it. Create a routine that gives you permission to clear your head. Walking is something that can keep you in shape and your mind sharp. As you walk, speak positive affirmations into your life and on behalf of the ones you love. Seeing what you say manifest is the benefit. Wrap It Up Fall and Winter weather are such amazing seasons to cover up with warm and fuzzy things. Even when the weather doesn't require warmth, there's nothing like wrapping yourself up in a cozy blanket. Some of my faves are oversized throw blankets, chunky cardigan sweaters, and fuzzy socks . Electric heated blankets provide additional coziness and helps ease muscle soreness. Oil Change From aromatherapy to skincare, essential oils can be a game changer. Place a diffuser in your favorite places in your home and add scented oils that bring calm to the atmosphere. Lavender is at the top of the list when it comes to that. The diversity of essential oils is amazing. For instance, did you know how important your belly is, specifically the navel! Place these oils and remedies in or on the navel to gain these benefits: neem oil - to treat acne and pimples coconut oil - increases fertility castor oil- assist in joint relief mustard oil - cures dry chapped lips, detox, Almond oil - promotes glowing face Sesame oil - helps to strengthen bones Alcohol dipped cotton ball on navel for pain relief Brandy soaked cotton ball for relief of cramping Find time,.. two minutes to take a deep breath, drink a glass of water, exercise or stretch for 5 minutes! These tips will definitely help lighten the load that comes from stress. Remember to always consult your healthcare provider when necessary. Prayer My life has been a journey guided by answered prayers. Prayer is a powerful weapon that wards off the type of negativity that causes stress based illnesses such as depression. Prayer is personal and requires vulnerability to your faith. God gave us prayer to communicate the things in life only He knows about and can fix.
